I am a 24 year old girl with the name Tyler. As a child I hated my name due to the fact that I was teased about having a "boy name". Now that I am older I love the authenticity of the name. When the day come that I have a little one, I plan on giving them as unique of a name as my mother graced me with! By the way... people with the name Tyler hate being called Ty! Call them T instead. =)

My husband actually thought of the name Tylah for our son...afterall he was nameless for 3 days. We ended it with a H because our last name has a H in it and it looked great combined.
Either way, its a great name.

I have a four year old Tyler at my house. We love his name, and it fits him well. His pre school teacher calls him Mr. T. I will agree with some of the other posts, it is nice to have the usual spelling of the name. I am named Nikki and I have never been able to find anything with my name on it.
