I love my name. There are not a lot of people with this name and the spelling is even more unique. I only know 2 other people with this name and the both spell it with an I. I think the y is better and more original.

This is my daughters name. When I was pregnant with her, the doctors told me that I was having a boy. When she was delivered, to my surprise, she was no boy! So I had to think of a girls name now. The next day I finally picked Brianna but I didnt't like the way it was spelled. So I changed it on my own, so I thought was my own spelling. I do not know anyone that spells there childs name this way, but mine.
I love it! I am glad that I chose this name!

I must agree with you too about loving the name, and more importantly, the way it's spelled. My older daughter wanted to name her Brianna, but as like the comment above, I too didn't like the spelling of Brianna so decided to change it to Bryanna. I also do not know anyone else with that spelling. For awhile, I thought maybe I spelled it incorrectly

I spelled my older daughters middle name Mychele, its pronounced, Michelle. So when my husband wanted to name our younger daughter Brianna, I thought that keeping the "Y" in their names would be cute. I love the spelling, but hate when people think her name is Bry-anna. They dont know to pronounce it like an "I". Either way I am happy to see other people spelling it the way I thought was "original".

LOL. my mom told me thats she was at first goin to name me Clarissa Carter but at the last minute decided to name me Bryanna Michelle Bailey. For so long she thought that she came up with the name, until i went into the 3rd grade and i had two other Bryannas in my class. But i like my name and i have met many other girls that also have the same name but i have never met another girl that spells her name like mine
