i loveee this name..probably because its my name! nobody else that i know has the same name as me,and i like it that way.i think it is a beautiful name.although my parents didnt know the meaning,it fits me because i have dark hair with hazel eyes.

As a young child, I wasn't really fond of my name. i always thought of it as more of a guy's name; however, as I got older, I began to really think about it and play with the sounds of it then i began to like my name because, now, i find "adrienne" unique and feminine.

I used to pretend I had a different name because most people would ask me to repeat myself when I said it, and they would always spell it wrong. Now as an adult I'm proud of it and plan to name my daughter Adrienne next year. :)
