my name is alison and i much prefer it spelled with only one L. most everybody spells it w/2 which to me is pronounced all ison. why have 2 L's if u only need 1. also pretty spelled alyson.

Aly, Ali, Alli, Alli, Alice, Allie, and Ally are all nick-names for Allison however you spell it. I personally spell it Ali or Alli. People always spell mine Allie and thats how my best friend spells it, and yes I have more than one friend named Allison. (three to be exact, and we all spell Ali different.
