My fiance's name is cheyenne...she is the most compatible person 2 myself.I really enjoy her company...shes so beautiful & loving and has a kind heart and is already a mother of sorts to her brothers which i really admire...so in conclusion i feel the name Cheyenne is a beatiful name

soo...my name is Cheyenne. i get MANY MANY comments on how beautiful my name is. i love that part of it. so it's great and all...BUT..not many people know how to spell it "the right way", let alone SAY it the right way. so if you name your child Cheyenne be prepared to spell it out a million times because people will ask. and it definitely gets annoying. also, there's really no shortening it. if people call her chey (pronounced shy) and she's not shy..its not a fitting nickname. shiney works, but only when she's little. people have actually started calling me Wyoming. and writing out the full thing is a hassel so please, give her a short middle name. i have two middle names, one of which is Alexandrea and writing out my entire on all of my legal documents..ugh. i hate it. my full name actually takes up two lines on my driver's license and my signature has to be way scrunched to be able to fit on papers. so...please think twice. Cheyenne is a beautiful name, however, coming from a Cheyenne...it's not all it's cracked up to be.

I love this name. However, we spell my daughter's name completely different so she is still unique. We spell it Shaianne. I chose this way because my middle name is Anne then we added Shai. I love it!!

I'm French and there is a Cheyenne in my son's primary school, a blond girl with long hair. I like the name though I find it weird but it is especially NOT a name for a blond! And by the way, you have to pronounce it Ché-yèn
