My Great Grandmother's name was Elizabeth and my Mother loved her name yet didn't want to name me Elizabeth because common nicknames are lizzy etc... and she hates those nicknames. So I was named Elise. I have always loved my name and always will.

My middle name is Elysse. My aunt once saw the spelling for it.. But I have yet to find someone with the same spelling. It's a little frustrating that people can't spell it, but it makes it very unique. I think it is a great middle or first name. I get a lot of compliments on it =]

I'm not sure if I'm having a boy or girl yet, even though we're pretty sure it's a girl.I wanted to use my middle name, but change it up a bit. I had come up with Annelise, had no clue it was an actual name, to still include my middle name. My son is named after his father Cristopher Drew, goes by Drew, so there are too many Chris/Cris's already.
