Lauren is the greatest name ever. Not many people mispronounce it and it looks and sounds lovely. The only downside, that I can think of, is that there is no nickname for Lauren. But it has never bothered me. For any soon-to-be moms- this is the greatest name.

The only problem that I have ever had with this name, being that my name is Lauren is people want to pronounce it like its spelled loren not Lauren. But its also nice because this name cannot be made fun of in any way. So you dont have to worry about humiliating your child by naming them wrong.

I'm also called Lauren, and while it's an easy name for people to say and spell, it does get somewhat irritating when there are so many other Laurens around.
All through school, I have always had at least two other Laurens in my class. Being known by your last initial isnt really that great.

I love my name! No matter what though my friends and family have come up with nicknames like LoLo, LuLu and such. But I think that it's a strong yet beautiful name that you cannot grow out of. I am so happy this is my name!

MY name is also Lauren,but, everyone thinks that it is spelled loren,luran.loran,or laurn. But overall, it's an ok name.
