I'm also called Lauren, and while it's an easy name for people to say and spell, it does get somewhat irritating when there are so many other Laurens around.

All through school, I have always had at least two other Laurens in my class. Being known by your last initial isnt really that great.

I love my name! No matter what though my friends and family have come up with nicknames like LoLo, LuLu and such. But I think that it's a strong yet beautiful name that you cannot grow out of. I am so happy this is my name!

MY name is also Lauren,but, everyone thinks that it is spelled loren,luran.loran,or laurn. But overall, it's an ok name.

I would definitely name my daughter Lauren if that weren't my name already and that would just be weird. I love the name. I like that there's no nickname really because people can't call me whatever they want. I am 27 and it was not a very popular name growing up...I only knew a few. i love the name lauren, its my daughters middle name. i decided with all 3 of my children that if they didnt like their first names, my daughters being nataleigh, then they should have a pretty good middle name to fall back on. and Nataleigh Lauren seems to suit her just perfectly!

yes my name is lauren and not many people miss spell it either but they pronounce it way wrong they always say la ren with the short a sound rather that an o sound "how i'd say it"

Lauren Mckenzie is my cousin's name, it's so cute! She is such a Lauren she couldn't be anything else!! My aunt wanted to change her name to Loren cause she wanted to call her Lolo, but she calls her it anyway. :P
