I have named my new daughter Madeline Sophia. It's derived from Mary Magdalene who was a fascinating and important biblical figure, and Sophia means wisdom. And it sounds beautiful.

I just found out I was pregnant and my boyfriend and I have talked about several names for a girl. We couldnt decide on alot.. He like Kaylei and I loved madison. I didnt like his name and he didnt like mine. I heard the name madeline on the tv and i fell in love with it. My name is Krystal Lynn so we decided on Madeline but spelling it Madalynn. We choose the middle name is be Renee.. We thought Madalynn Renee went well together. I love that name and i would def nickname her Maddie. Its just as cute!

I want to name my daughter Madeline for the same reason as Dayna, I'm still in love with Hanson it will be the baby's first concert, I just found out I was pregant on Tuesday and I'm going to see them on Saturday, it's just convincing my husband of the name and I can't find a middle name I like to go with it.

so I'm 20... my parents must be trendsetters... actually, my dad's mom's mom must be a trendsetter because my grandmother's name is madeline. (pronounced mad-a-lyn)
i'm annoyed at how quickly people can jump on the bandwagon with names.
thru out childhood i was the only madeline i knew... now i can't tell people my name without hearing "oh! my 5 year old neice is named madeline." or "my friend just had a baby & named her madeline."

My daughter's name is Madeline Kay, her nick name is Maddy and sometimes we call her Mads. My husband and I both love this name...it is a classic. I love the way everyone spells the name...there are so many variations. We went with the classic spelling...so if she wants to buy a pencil or something with her name on it...she will find it...I loved that stuff when I was little.
