Pick of the Litter
written by Isabel Clare, August 17, 2010
One morning, I woke up and decided I wanted to call a kitten Marcell. There was girls down the road giving out kittens, and every time we walked by there they would ask us if we still wanted one. It took a little while for my parents to agree, but later on that day we stopped by the house and looked for a kitten. We eventually found the perfect one-a beautiful male tabby with a fluffy leopard belly. It was dubbed Marcell of course, but we spelled it with one L because my name is ISABEL and we thought it would be cute for the two of us to have the same number of letters in our names. He is 4 years old now and is living the life of Riley. Bless his little leopard-bellied self.?
