i love my name and proud of it

Our 5 year old daughter is named Renee. It was my mother's name who passed away in 1989, so I absolutly love that I could honor my mom and my daughter in such a special way.

"Renae" is a perfect first of middle name. My parents spelled my name a little differently, but as a child I appreciated the phonetically correct way!

Renee is my middle name which I think goes good with my first name. I have yet to find a "baby book" with my first name..Lakin..pronounced Lay-Ken, a lot of people have a problem with my name, I don't know why and I don't know how they get Lincoln, Larkin, Laklin out of it, but I get all kinds of stuff but I like my name, I guess my mom did a good job giving me a unique name.

I teamed this name up with Eliza after Elizabeth in the Bible. I couldn't think of a middle name for it. I thought about the women in my life and their names. One woman has the middle name Renee and I thought that will work. So now my second daughter will be Eliza Renee.

I love this name and I varied it a little, my daughter is Jerica Brené. Which is totally off the chart and cannot find it anywhere. But then I wanted her to stand out so all is well that ends well

I came to this site because my son and his lady are expecting a child. I wanted to look up my own name to read the comments, but I was taken by surprise to see my middle name listed below Renee as a "similar name". I've never found my middle name anywhere until today. My name is Renee Deneen, and I used to curse my mother for giving me that name because I didn't meet another Renee until I was in 8th grade. Now that I'm much older I appreciate my name and now I'm thrilled to find that Deneen has a meaning and is actually listed somewhere! My son has twin girls and one of them is named Paress (pronounced Paris) Renee and the other is Delilah Mae.

My middle name is Renee and its the name Ive gone by my whole life. Ney is what my mom called me as a child and its special to me. I also gave the name Renee to my baby daughter as her middle name.
As a child I didn't like my name but as an adult I have grown to love it.

My middle name is also Renee, and I wouldn't change it for the world. It is such a strong and beautiful name for any mother to give to their daughter. I guess that's why my mother gave the name to me, and when that day comes for me to name my daughter I know her middle name will be Renee.

My name is a spin off of Renee. It is Renell, and it means the same thing. (Ren - el). I love my name and do not often hear it on someone else. It is most often a middle name when I do hear it.
