I like my name
written by Tracey , February 22, 2008
My name is Tracey spelled with an "e" and I have always liked it. The only trouble I run into is that everyone always spells it without the "e". I think the "e" makes me unique so I don't mind it too much. It's interesting that this site says Tracy is a boy name because I've only met one boy in my lifetime with that name. i've met several girls with the name.

My name is spelled "Tracy," but people always added an "e" before the "y." I've only met one guy in my life with my name also. I've known several other females with the same name, but spelled many different ways....Tracy, Tracey, Tracie, Traci, Trace.

My name is Tracy.
I know of a number of Tracey's, but no Tracys.
Tracey seems to be the more common way of spelling it.
I think it's the traditional way aswell.

I'm a Tracy

My parents met at a Buffalo Sabres game so they named me (their firstborn) after a hockey player on the team at the time- Tracy Pratt. I would like my name more if it had a "formal" form- it sounds like a nickname. I think Tracy is way more common as a girl name in the US than a boy name, so I've never been in a situation where people are like, "Oh, you're a girl!"
