my daughter to honor her grandmothers-one Irish the
other Scottish-both named Katherine/Catherine.The
name was unheard of back then(in the USA)now the name
is very popular and usually not spelled correctly!
How did the name Caitlin get so popular? Growing up
my daughter was the only Cait in her classes-in
college, too.Teachers were always corrected,by Caitlin,on how to pronounce her name! Teachers shouldn't have that problem now! How did the name get
so popular and at the same time misspelled so many
ways?
