I thought my mom made my name by Mixing my dad's name (Kenley) and my Grandmother's name, Hellen.
I have always had to explain my name as it is quite unusual, I have never met another. The teasing never got to me and I have always thought it is a pretty name. I could not imagine any thing I would rather be called, ever.

I named my daughter Kellen Ashley, and I just love the way the two go so well together. The name fits her perfectly. She is quite athletic, but very beautiful and graceful at the same time. I have never regretted naming her this. She simply "looks" like a Kellen.

My parents heard the name Kellyn from the television and they loved it! So they decided to name me after it. I've only ever met boys with my name but I've never met someone with my spelling! I love the uniqueness of it! =)
