i like my name because it's not a name people hear all the time, although it's not too unusual when you introduce yourself to others (they have probably met someone called Abigail before-but not too many)i prefer to be called Abigail but i don't mind people calling me abi (like it spelt A B I as this is half of my name) or abs which is cute.

Her Father Rejoices!

That is why I named my daughter Abigail Faith (was going to be Abigail Joy, but we thought that was too much), because both her earthly father and heavenly Father REJOICED when she was born. When I told my husband that I was pregnant he couldn't stop smiling! I new the next day that I was pregnant and was so sure that it was going to be Abigail. I even started a journal before I knew for sure I was pregnant! She is now 8 months old and has not stopped being a joy where ever she goes. I have never seen a happier baby! She is our joy!

Our first child is a girl. When we found out, my husband was soooo excited. He wanted to name her Helen after his grandmother. We were looking for a Bible name for her middle name and made a list ofthe ones that we liked. My husbands first choice was Abigail. When he found out the meaning he loved it even more. She really is her father's joy!

I adore my name, i think its unique and a very fun loveing name.
I find through-out my school that my name means so many different things wich are all posotive!
I prefer to be called Abi so i get anoyed when teachers call out Abigail since its a posh name and im not posh.
If i had to have any outher name it would have to be something that sounded pure and feminem but i could never choose a name on my personality since it changes all the time, people say that i have a unique and uncommon personality i mixture as such. But to be truthly honest i wouldnt change my name for the world and every one with the name Abigail should be proud to have such a pleasant to the ear name.
Im sorry if i sounded vain but i just wanted people with the name Abigail not to hate it when its a lovely name to have just like many outhers.
lots of love Abi xx
