this is my boyfriends name!!!

My Ethan just turned 30 years old. Ethan was not a common name in 1978. My son's first and middle name is actually Ethan Allyn, Allyn being my maiden name. Both of our sons have middle names that are family names. His first name fits his personality well as he is an aspiring actor and documentary film maker and you must be strong and constant to be successful in that field! By the way Ethan was a great compromise for my husband and me as I wanted to go very Irish with Ian!

Ethan is definatley on my list. Ethan just stands out among the croud and as the meaning goes is very strong! I'm liking it alot.

We totally love the name Ethan! Our first little one is due in June and we think Ethan Phoenix Rankin would be perfect for him... only problem is, Ethan is supposedly extremely popular (i.e. # 1 on many names lists). I'm not sure we should go with what we love and risk him being known as Ethan R.

My little boy, who is five years old, is named Ethan. It really suits him. He has quite a strong character! I think it is the best name in the world, along with Braiden - his big brother.

My little two year old is named Ethan Robert. I have loved this name since the days when I would watch the show "30 Something" when I was in high school and there was a little boy on there with that name.
Everyone that I meet loves this name. When I first found out I was pregnant, my husband and I just new this was his name.

I had twins 5 months ago and called my son Ethan Peter George. I think its a lovely strong name. His twin sister is called Emerson Olivia Suzanne and im sure they will call each other Eth and Ems much to there fathers disgust... he hates shortened names!

i have a 3yr old named Ethan Nathaniel, he is the cutest lil' character ever! His voice can make your heart melt. I have yet to meet an Ethan that wasn't adorable!

I am due in December and have also chosen the name Ethan if we have a son. I think the name is so cute!
If we have a son his name will be Ethan James, he has his dads middle name,(continuing the tradition).

On my mom's side of the family there are 3 Ethan's. Her brother, his son, and her sister's son.

Would it be a little cliche if I wanted to name my son Ethan also?

My son Ethan turned 9 in Mar. 2008. He was strong and determened then, just as he is now. He was 2 mo. early and only weighed 3lbs. 4oz. He's very articulate and knows how to work a crowd. I believe that the majority of a person's personality comes from their name itself. His full name is Ethan Michael, and boy did he get the affect's from the name Michael too. :) When he was just starting to talk he had a stuffed puppy and we were thinking about what to call him and I asked him if he wanted to name him E M after his first initials he liked it and it stayed. Then we started to call Ethan that as a nickname and it stuck. So when we are in a crowd as opposed to saying his name in public b/c you never know... who's out there. I'll call out E M and he responds.

i like the name Ethan Alexander.

At first ETHAN was going to be named after his father Sergio and a old friend brought up the name Ethan, i look it up and meant Strong, Bold, etc....
I didnt think to change our son's name. But when my water broke @ only 7 months and 4lbs he was a Strong 7 month old baby boy i just push out our son, his father look at me and ask "What would u like to name our son?" I said ETHAN and looking into each others eyes as our healthy son was in the background crying at that very moment we both exactly knew that Ethan was a perfect fit and to this day 9-5-2008 Ethan is now 6 years old playing baseball strong and healthy as he can be=-]

Ethan is a strong hansome name Karl and i fell in love with that name as soon as we heard it. When my hubby was a young man he watched 90210 and his favourite charecter was Ethan and since then he made up his mind that his son will be called Ethan. When Karl told me about the name a straight away i said yes. Ethan is now 8 and strong and good looking. His name is Ethan Zac Court. ETHAN !!!!!!!!
