Iris was the Greek goddess of the rainbow. Because of that also the colored part of the eye is called 'iris'. And of course the beautiful Iris flower. Arco iris is the Spanish expression for raqinbow. Irisation also comes from 'iris' and describes a colorful shimmering...

Up until last week we thought we'd decided on Iris. I like it but I also think it sounds a bit too "classic" for my taste.
