I think Jacob is a strong, name of good character. My grandfather just recently passed away and he was a Jacob. My sister named her youngest Nicholas Jacob and if my husband and I have a son, he will be Colton Jacob. It is just too popular as a first name! (I also have a cousin named Jacob Elijah.
