Jasper is a stone. It was the most precious stone of the ancients. It was very valuable. Green jasper is the most rare. The foundation and walls of heaven are made of jasper. It reflects the Glory of God.
We are naming our daughter Jasper. I think it is a beautiful and amazing name. A friend looked up the meaning in a baby book and that book defined Jasper as: Keeper or guardian of the treasure.

I had an uncle, a great great uncle, names Jasper. He married Esmeralda. Esmeralda is alike to Emerald, so they both had names that were green!

I love the name Jasper, i want my son to have a part of my name in his name and well my first name is Patricia and i couldn't thing of any names for a boy that i liked so i took my middle name Jasmine toyed around with it and got Jasper and i love it and his middle name will be James after his father and i just love the name Jasper James!!!
