when i was born almost 17 years ago, my mom wanted to name me after my grandma, Mary, so she named me Mara instead. when i was younger i never liked my name. everyone complimented it but i always hated having to spell it for them(although its not that difficult). but now that my grandma has passed away i'm very glad she named me Mara. its a constant reminder of a great and wonderfully talented woman. RIP Mary Frances Hubbard Fortune!!!!!
