We decided on this name early on as we needed an unusual name to go with his older brother Kaiden. It is a variation of Michael therefore pronounced in the same way (My-kah not Mee-kah!!) and was also the name of a minor prophet in the bible. After research we have since heard the name on the tv program 'Heroes' and it is also the name of Manchester city football player Micah Richards! The only problem now is we are struggling to find the perfect middle name!

My grandson is going to be named Micah and one of the middle names they considered is Alexander. Depending on your last name I think Micah Alexander flows really well. They chose not to use it because of a close relative (1 year old cousin) with the name Alexander.

We named our daughter Micah Danielle, this is a beautiful strong name, I love it. We have met other girls with the name Micah as well. I also seen it spelled Mica.
