I like how my name sounds together. Rachel Elizabeth. I always wished for a better unique name, but now I can't think of a name that would fit me. It's not that bad of a name.

I seem to be like every other Rachel out there...hates their name as kid but then grows to like it as they get older. My name is Rachel Lynn. I was always a tom boy as a kid and probably still am at heart so I always went by Rae. I used to insist that it was spelt RAE because when I was little I thought RAY was for boys (like for RAY-mond) and RAE was for girls. Good thing I wasn't named after Great Aunt Gertrude...Rachel Gertrude...doesn't flow well now does it?

I always wanted to change my name. My mom named me Rachel so I wouldn't have a name people could shorten liked hers (Elizabeth) but people still call me Rach and Rachy, which I really don't like. Not to mention all the people who spell it Rachael. Plus it's so common. Only Sarah was more popular when I was born and that was almost my name name. But at least Rachel Christine still rolls off the tongue, regardless of how much I like it. :D

My name is Rachel Leanne Owen... i think it flows nicely and I have never met anyone with the same name as me. It pretty much flows with any last name i have ever heard.

Like many.. i hated my name while being a teenager.
In fact, in my freshman year in high school, i had my teachers call me Leanne. But that didn't work out because i kept putting Rachel on all of my work. -Haha-

My parents and grandparents -and husband- call me Rachel Baby to this day. It's amazing what sticks with you through your years of life. :)

I love my name and couldn't have asked for any other name. There are only few Rachel's I know so it is nice to have a name that not everyone else has. My parents both knew when they were young that they wanted a daughter named Rachel so when I came along, my name was picked!! My middle name is Lottie and I absolutely love it... Rachel Lottie!!!

I always loved my name as a kid and took much pride that I was one of few. My name is Rachel Louise. (Coulda done without the Louise as a kid...) The "misspelling" of the name irks me, but whatever, however it's spelled, it's going to make someone unhappy, right?

I love my name Rachel Elizabeth. I hate it when poeple spell my name like Racheal.
this is weird...
written by rachel, July 22, 2008
This is really weird! My name is Rachel Elizabeth too. I think I'm, like, the fourth person already. I've never liked my name because of the hardness in it. When people say the C H part of my name they emphasize it and make it sound bad. And I get confused with everyone else who's name is Rachel. But I think I should be happy with it because it is beautiful and older.

My name is also Rachel Christine. My parents got Rachel from the bible and Christine is from my grandmom's maiden name Christiansen. I hate when people spell my name "Rachael"...drives me nuts. My family always called my Rachel Rachel growing up...weird I know. Most of my friends call me RC or Rachy. My younger cousin all call me Rach-Rach. I love the name as do a lot of people I talk to.

I just love my name! When growing up, I considered the name Rachel neither girly or boyish, and it fit me just fine! My middle name is unusual, Rachel Yu, but I think that just adds to the unique-ness of it!
