haha i always thought my name was french, meaning "one who hears". But when i found out that my name could also be loud in hebrew.... i was so excited. I'm an incredibly loud person, so, finally it made since.

I totally agree with the Simone above! I am loud too. I like that my name is Hebrew. My son's name is Jordan and his is hebrew as well. :)

Its funny, I am not loud intentionally but my voice is very strong and it does carry. I have to be carful when I speak to people over the phone or in a library.

my grand daughter was talked so loud at 3yrs, we thought she couldn't hear well and took her for a hearing test. she's ok, now we know why.

My sisters name is Simone and I looked up the french meaning which is *heard* and then she said "I'm always heard". She left the room and I checked up the Hebrew meaning and it meant loud and i laughed !

I first fell in love with this name from the tv show "Head of the Class" - where Simone is the shy, quiet one of the class...are there any Simone's like this out there, or are you all loud? Other personality traits?
