My daughters name is Talia. I dont know where I picked it but when I did there wasnt any other Talia's around.. now they are everywhere.. The meaning of the name says it all.

My fiance and I were arguing over names when he said Talibeh ... lol ... I said no way, and as if God whispered the name in my ear ( I had never even heard it before) I said what about Talia? We both like it and it's about the only one we have agreed upon!

Everyone in my family has different names, but I have to say, Talia is my favorite! I've always loved my name! I get several different pronunciations at times, but it doesn't bother me. Due to the fact that my parents chose such a different name for me, and I love it, I plan to choose different and distinctive names for my children. I've always felt like I stood out of the crowd (a good thing) because I have such an unusual name. People always tend to remember you when your name is so different. Well, until about a year ago I was the only Talea I knew, Then i started hearing about people knowing people and women naming their children Talia, But ive never met anybody that has spelled it the way I do! i LOVE my name!!!!!! nobody else knows it, the only annoying part is the 2 different pronunciations, one is TALL-e-a, the other is TAL(like towel - the w)-e-a. Pick one, and then make sure everyone knows which one you picked, else whys it gets irritating! Also, be prepared to explain to people that it isn't Tanya!!!

My daughters name is spelt Taleah and the spelling was chosen by my 12yr old son. She is only 7wks old and I'm sure when she's old enough she will also love her name as much as I do. My best friends daughter also told me this name 2 1/2 yrs ago when I was pregnant with my other daughter and I had never heard of this name then and forgot about it till I had named this daughter.

My soon to be 5 year old daughter's name is Talia Lee, when i first read Talia I loved the name and my husband added Lee after my mother. I know a few Talias but only one Talia Lee, we do get a lot of 'excuse me's' and mispronouncations but we love our Dew from Heaven and hope one day she will love her name too, like so many of these other Talias.
