In the quest to be different and unique, this name has become so common and overused it should be a drinking game! I can't throw a stone without hitting a kid with this moniker. Boring, irritating and harsh...
Nice...

I named my son Aidan in 1995. It was a strong, old Irish name that appealed to us because we are both Irish. It didn't make much mention in baby name books back then so it was unique. I agree that it has become too popular. I still have no regretts because he is the only Aidan I know his age. I don't think it is "irrating or harsh". Certainly not "common or overused" as mentioned above by Jayne. I guess not all parents are as creative as yours...

I think this name is so cute! I agree its not that popular nor ordinary. I think names like Justin or Ryan are very common...not Aiden. Im thinking about using it but Im not sure on a middle name to go with it.
