While growing up in Texas, Bridget was a name rarely heard and not pronounced correctly so it always sounded harsh, but since moving to Ireland however I have greatly enjoyed being called Bridget and feel proud. Hearing my name from Irish lips sounds much nicer to the ears.

when i was a kid, people would sometimes make fun of my name, but now, im proud to be called bridget
