My son's name is spelt Connor & lotsa people get it wrong, by spelling it conner or conor.... I agree with those who say Connor is the right way, be it derived from the surname O'Connor, it does not matter. He truly lives up to the meaning of he's name... Strong willed!

We named our son Connor. Yes, I realize there are a number of ways to spell the name, and here we are less than a week after his birth and people are already spelling it a number of ways. We specifically named him Connor after his Irish grandmothers side of the family, who spelled the name "Connors" in the US (was probably O'Connor at one point before leaving Ireland).

We named our little boy Conner. His name really fits him he is so strong-willed. I think either way to spell it is right, just depends on how you like it spelled.

We chose Connor because we nearly lost our dear boy at birth and we decided he must have been strong wiled to carry on. We love him he is so gorgeous.(now 2)

the traditional irish spelling is CONOR the two "N's" is for a last name. this name is traditionally male but it is a girls name as well because i am a girl and that is what my parents named me. They got the name from the book Trinity about the war between the irish and the British. one of the leaders was conor with one "n" i am proud of this name and i think it should be considered to be both a male and female name!

My name is Connor, and I am a girl. I absolutely love my name; I think it fits me perfectly, but I'm glad that not a lot of people (boys or girls) have this name. I think it needs to fit a lot more than a "Jessica" or "Caitlin" would, and it doesn't really matter what the original spelling of the name is, we can make it whatever we want and I love the spelling of mine.

If I have a boy then we are going to name him Tommy Connor. We got Tommy after my husbands uncle who passed, and when we came across Connor we just fell in love with it.

I am of Irish decent living in Australia, and I love this spelling. I do want to name any children in the future the orginal Irish way, for first names. I do however like all the ways Conor can be spelled. I like the meaning and the heritage it comes with.
I spec like how someone have taken from family and spelled it Connor,it will mean more to them and him growing up

His name is Connor Jeffery, and I like it spelled this way though I heard a lot of different opinions on the spelling issue... He's lucky though cause everybody calls him CJ haha (:
