As a child I hated my name. But now as an adult, I love my name. Everyone didnt know how to pronounce my name, they called my Kee-air-a. Which is really pronounced K-ear-a...

My daughter was born in 1987 and we named her Keara... we were going to use the spelling Kira, but decided to change the spelling for several reasons... but I thought we came up with this spelling all on our own.. I didn't even know it actually existed.. I have never seen it anywhere else spelled this way... I was so surprised to see it on here.. and my daughter has had all the same experiences as the Keara's above even with the same pronounciations of it... LOL... but we have also always had a lot of compliments on how pretty it is...
