My daughter just turned 15 and her name is Kirra, We have come across a few other kirra all spelled different(Kyra,Keira,Kira,Kiera) my Kirra is the only one I have come across spelled KIRRA . We have searched for it and have not yet found it spelled that way with the exception of a beach in Austrilia.
My daughter is a beautiful girl with a beautiful personality. She loves her name and it's spelling. Her middle name is Amber.

I loved the name since hearing it in a film in 1988, so when my daughter was born in 1990 that was the name for her, I had not heard of it at all back then but now there is more and more, but me and my daughter still love it, I love names that cannot be shortened, we did spell it Kira as in the film credits!! A beautiful name for a beautiful girl (now an 18 year old young lady!)

When my mom named me she wanted to name me noelle. But that rymes with my last name, so keira became my first name( I love It!) and noelle became my middle. I for one think it was the best decision my mom made for me.

We named our daughter Keira Isabella in May 2004. I never heard this name before. I love her name and it fits our daughter so well. Her name is so unique and so is she. :) A girl that dances to her own tune and no one is going to tell her anything. She has a very strong, loving personality.

My sister named her first girl Keira, after the actress Keira Knightley. I always thought it was a beautiful name, and might have chosen it myself if I have a daughter except that my sister got it first! The name is perfect for my niece because she was born with Jet black hair, and a whole lot of it too! She had more hair the day she was born, than my other niece has now over 1 years old!

I like it spelled KEIRAH so it is pronounced KEY-RAH. not KEY-AIR-AH. LOL If I do have a girl her name will be KEIRAH CHRISTIELLA. The middle name is derived from my two very best friends, Christina and Gabriella. ; ) My family loves to make their own names. My nephews middle name is derived from my three brothers' names, Tino, Javy, and Eli. Its. TINJAVELI. Pronounced TEEN-AH-VEL-EE

I like girls to have long "legal" names that can be shortened (Deborah to Debbie, for instance) My husband and I named our oldest girl Kieriana. It's pronounced Keer-ee-ANN-uh but we call her KEER-uh. I debated about the Kie... or the Kei...spelling and I went with Kie because it is; after all the feminine form of Kieran! My daughter is 17 now (ouch!) and she likes her name.

We decide in 2003 that we would name our first daughter Keira but have had only boys since lol. We are currently pregnant again but since one of friends named their daughter Keira we have decided against the name, well that and all our children are born blonde haired and blue eyed so it doesn't really fit. But if anyone is interested in a unique way of spelling it I had chosen the spelling Keyera so that it was still a unique name in it's own way. I really hope to see it spelled that way one day I love it. Well congrats to all the beautiful little girls out there.
