My granddaughter's name is Kennedy. I never really thought of it as a boys name. She is our first grandchild and very beautiful, as is her name..Kennedy Irene.

My daughter was named the day they found JFK JR's plane. My husband and I looked at each other and both said "I like that as a girl's name." Thus was our daughter named Kennedy Elaine.

i just found out today that my little bundle of joy is going to be a beautiful little girl. we were already calling her kennedy before we knew the sex so its great. i got my wish. now i can call her by her name when i speak to her in my tummy.

This cracks me up. I have lived with this as my last name all of my life and to hear it used as a "Cute girls name" is just funny to me.
People call me Kennedy sometimes and I have girls who love it and wish they had it.
I have a friend that named her daughter Kenadee Olivia. It's just weird to me. The meaning is just not feminine to be used as a girls name.

We found out a few weeks ago that we are having another little girl. We picked the name Kennedy because we just thought it was perfect. I am having second thoughts however now because I read the meaning of the name. I hate to be superstitious, but the name Kennedy means "Deformed head", so now I'm a little nervous to name her that!!

This is going to be the first middle name of my first born daughter. To me it sounds strong and confident. Her full name will be Jasey Kennedy Madeleine.

My daughter juswt turned 3 and her name is Kennedi Nicole. We loved the name. It's funny I never thought of it as a boy's name but her pediatrician (same since birth) still says how is he doing! It is a strong name maybe the cause for confusion...?

My son is named Kennedy when I first heard that name I always thought of it as a boys name, but everyone that I know named Kennedy are girls. There are really no boy names or girl names any more. I have a son named Courtney, son Cameron and daugther Karrington.

i do love the name Kennedy (with variant spelling) for a girl. there is just something about it. I do agree with the one person, though, who was hesitant about the meaning. The name just sounds so nice - the meaning does not really fit!

It is funny to see that they only list this name for a boy. My daughter is 10 and I heard this name when I was 18 or 19 and siad whenever I have a daughter that is what I am going to name her. I have seen it spelled a couple of ways besides the way that I spelled her name(Kenadie, Kenedie and Kennedie). Love this name!

My daughter is 10 years old and her name is Kennedy Elisabeth I am happy I went with a more feminine middle name because the name is a strong name,sometimes the spelling also softens up the name, I have a friend who has a 2 year old daughter and she spells her name Kynnadi.

We just had a little girl three months ago and we named her Kenadie Cierra. We get many compliments and several say "you just don't hear that name anymore but it's a beautiful name". I'm not sure why this site lists it as a boy's name only.

my daughters name is kynnedy. the site i found it on has a different meaning than this one. it meant chief. not helmet head lol. maybe my older brother should have been named kennedy based on this definition he has a weird looking head...

it also had it listed as a unisex name not just a boys name if that makes anyone feel any better...

My daughter's name is Kennedi Grace! I think it's more a girls name then a boys. I put the "i" at the end to make it more girly! I didn't want the "die" at the end:)
