I have read both the Gaelic & Irish meanings of the name Lennon. Both show it as a boy's name - but here in Ontario Canada it is the name given to my beautiful 22 month old granddaughter. My son is a musician and wanted a name that was unique for his daughter that was not a season, element, state or body of water - so she was named for John Lennon and given the middle name Audrey after her Nana (my mother - who we lost this past April). My four year old granddaughter is named Charlie Ann.
