My name is Mairead. I hated when I was a child that I was called "may-read" it wasn't fun. But now I like that no one has my name really. My grandmother's name was Margret, and I was named after her. Except my mom didn't want me to be called "Peggy". Only to family am I "Maggie", though. And I know what you think when you hear "Mairead" red frizzy hair, freckles. Well, that's my sister, Jean.
