My parents did not give me a middle name when I was born. That way when I got married Murphy my last name would be my middle name. Growing up I was upset that I had no middle name! Now that Murphy is my middle name I just love it. I asked my husband if we could name one of our kids Murphy and he said no. At least I have it... :P Great name

WWE Wrestler Triple H and his wife, WWE Executive Stephanie McMahon-Levesque named their second child Murphy Claire Levesque. I love the name personally (it's my last name as well) and I think it could be used as either a boys name or a girls name.
