We named our third son Emery and then three days later changed it to Rylan (another name we liked) -- he's three years old and the name couldn't be more perfect!

My sons name is Ryland and I love his name. I am now pregnent with my second son and can not find a name that lives up to this one. Its truly the best name ever.

I named my first son, Rylan, and still absolutely love the name 16 months later. (Love the baby even more, though! :-) It's unique, but not weird. I agree with the other poster who said it will be hard to find another boy name I like as well.

We named our first baby (girl) Rylan. The first time we ever saw the name was 3 years prior and it was listed as a girls' name. The name stuck with us and then when our baby was born and turned out to be a girl (we didn't find out the sex before hand) we went with the name Rylan that we had chosen when we first found out we were expecting. We love the name and can't imagine our daughter being named anything else.

I agree with all of the above. My son is one-week old and although his dad was not happy that he did not get to choose the name, he had to admit (in his own way) that Rylan is undeniably a smooth name.

My son is RYLEN. Changed the spelling because, as a school teacher, didn't want him to be mistakenly called Ryan. Love this name, and no one else has it around here!

My dad is Ryland III, but I like Rylan also...we're considering both for a boy. I think it's a very powerful and dignified name.
