I love my name b/c not a lot of people have it. For some unknown reason people cant pronounce it right tho...they wanna pronounce it as Krista...oh well

I also really love my name. I believe that because not many people have this name, it is more unique. But that is completely right. Some people do not pronounce it right. I am always getting Tris, Trisha, Krista, or some of that variation. I also love this name because of the cool nickname that I have received from it. Trissy.

lol, the meaning is sad but Im a happy person.
so it doesnt really matter then ;).
yeah, some people cannot pronounce it perfectly.
but my parents told me that the meaning of trista is Three stars.
also, my mother saw the three stars (which is orion) before they went to hospital. and Im the third children who they have.
it is also because I have three moles on my right shoulder.
moreover, "tri" means three from sansekerta language (a javanese tribe's language in indonesia).
and "sta" is just the way indonesians pronounce the star word.
so it east meets west! :D
