Fancy calling a poor child this. It's nearly as bad as Martini or something. Sounds cute but don't punish a little girl with this name.

Um, Midori has nothing to do with "martini".
It's Japanese, and in Japanese it means "green".
I don't see what's wrong with it.
I think it's a beautiful name.

My hubby works with a Japanese woman who is named Midori. It is a beautiful name and she's a beautiful woman.

I love this name and I think it would be a beautiful name to bestow upon any girl.

I could see naming a pet Midori but to me its an alcoholic beverage that is best served with sweet soda at a club! Not to name a child... but do as you wish..
