My name is Jamie also, but I've never had any one tell me they thought it was a boy's name. Although, I've always imagined other Jamie's as a male Brazilian soccer player : P weird huh?

Jamie is short for James, and only has only been used as a girl's name in recent times here in America. Everywhere else it's been a boy's name for centuries.
