I have a daughter and her name is Lita. I have never meet anyone with the same name and spelling. Most Lita's are spelled Leta

6 years ago We had originally picked Lita for our daughter but once we actually wrote it down next to her middle name, it appeared to short. We decided to put an "e" in it and therefore came up with Leita. It is still pronounced "Lita". We love it and love the fact that we have never met anyone with her name.
