My name!
written by Sara and James, January 20, 2008
Hate it because people always put a 'H' at the end when there's not supposed 2 be one!
Agree!

I hate that! I had an experience when I was yoiunger where the teacher tried to FORCE me to spell my name with an "H". Now I flip out when people misspell it.
goshh.

I absolutly hate it when people spell my name with an h, but one of my best friends name is Sarah, so she yells at me when i flip out, it's hillarious.
=D

I think it looks so stupid with the H on the end. It's so much simpler without it.

I am Mexican American and I'm very proud of my heritage. But one thing that gets to me is that hispanic people where I'm from (south texas) won't say my name in english cause I don't spell it with an H. They think that Sarah is english and Sara is spanish. I'm not complaining about my name being said with a spanish accent. I just want people to know that they can say it in english too. I'm bilingual, my name is bilingual and I love not having that darn H.
Hate the H!!!

Everyday people say Sara with an h? it gets to be soooo annoying!!! I dont have an H because my last name starts with an H. Since my name is spelled different, i feel special!!!
really not crazy about this name
written by Sara Jane, February 19, 2008
I dislike this name for two reasons; 1. It's so common. It seemed like every third girl in my class had this name or the more common variation of it. 2. Since it's the less common form, you constantly must correct people's spelling.

And a quick quote from one of my favorite author, concerning the name Sara... "The name which cries out for a prosthetic h"
Dislike Sara as well

Awe it's funny I was just reading the reviews about the name Autumn. Everyone named Autumn loves their name. Everyone named Sara hates it. Yes I can't stand when people put an H on my name.. and there were like 5 Sara's in all my classes growing up when I was little. The only nick names I ever got were Raries, Sara Beara, and Sars :( I advise against naming your child something so plain like Sara. OH and since my middle name is Lynn, people say it sounds like a hick name. Sara Lynn....

it is not plain. it is classic. and it has a nice meaning. everyone is so concerned with naming their kids weird names or names with weird spellings but that does not mean that common names are not still pretty. Yes it is nice to have a unique name, but most people go way too far. Unlike these phony made up names such as Nevaeh and Mahduhsyn, Sara has meaning. It's a great name. Give your kid a weird name and see if he has a chance. it is statistically proven that people with very uncommon or hard to pronounce names are sometimes passed up in jobs. I work in HR, and i know this to be true.
