my aunt, whom i was very close too, died on Dec. 31st, 2007. i told my self i would name my unborn baby after her. to my surprise, it was a little boy and couldn't quite figure out how that was going to work!! since her middle name was kay i think caden would be the perfect name for him. i think im going to spell it kayden just to go the extra mile!!!

I have wanted to name my son Caden for a long time, however, I'm going to spell it Caiden. I think Caiden is the most adorable and perfect name for any little boy. It's sweet but strong and very suitable.
My son's name

Hi. My son is almost 8. We chosen Kaden - not knowing it would soon be a common name. We obviously spell it different. My husband is a mans man and doesn't believe that I's or Y's should be in boy's names.....hence Kaden.

He is a loving, strong, compassionate boy. The name serves his well.

i had the name caden in mind for my unborn son but wasnt sure if thats what i was going to name him. i just had him 2 months premature and has a bit of a rough road ahead and while in the hospital i actually looked up the meaning of the name which is fighter. i knew instantly thats what i was going to name him as soon as i read that. and to top it off is the fact he also did alot of kicking and punching in my tummy too. Thats my son, a fighter:)

And i just had my son two months early and during my stay in the hospital i looked up the meaning of Caden which means fighter. Instantly i knew that was his name because his has a rough little fight ahead of him. On top of the fact that he to constantly kicked and punched while in my tummy. Thats my son, Caden the fighter:)

We found Caden in the baby name book the day he was born Aug, 2007. I had never heard of the name before but liked it because it was strong sounding and I was trying to avoid overly popular names. Ooops! As soon as we got home from the hospital almost everyone we talk to knows another Caden (many different spellings though.) I love his name, but wish I had found this name earlier to have done more research.

Cadeyn
written by Jodi, February 24, 2008
We've spelt ours Cadeyn just because I wanted a "y" in there somewhere but we plan to eventually shorten it to Cade one day anyway.
i think caden should be a unisex name....
written by dorie, February 25, 2008
i feel that caden could be a unisex name. im 20 wks. preggos and have a 7 mnth. old sons whoms name is jaydon.which happens to be a unisex name as well. to me although jaydon sounds more boyish i guess you could say cause of the "jay"(i had an uncle which everyone called jay, which may influnce my opinion) and you hear of boys with the name jay and caden sounds more girly cause of the name "kay". anyways im leaning very strongly on naming my baby girl cadan..
I also believe Caden or Kayden should be Unisex

I am Due july with a little girl and I will be calling her Khayden. Besides the meaning fits my situation, I have three little ones too, I put little bits of their names and I got Khayden. My 7 yr old daughter is Kiara Lashay, my 5 yr old son is Khaleel Isaiah, and my 3 yr old son name is Jordan Quincy. I thought that would be the perfect name for my little girl to be. I can call her Katy, Kady, Kay for short. Her full name will be Khayden Anniyah.
Anyone want to to talk please email me at resolution4faithandlove@yahoo.com. thanks.
Kaydon
written by Johnie, February 27, 2008
I spelled my son's name Kaydon. And had never heard it. His grandmothers middle name was Kay and Last was McDonald. So I took her middle name and the don from her last. She past away in 2000. his name his Kaydon Drew Isaac. I saw in one name book that Kaydon means "excitng"

Our little man Caden
written by Lori Seydel, March 04, 2008
I to love that name, Caden. I call him Cade for short. I wanted a uncommon name when we had our son Nov. '06 but now we hear it more and more. He is a little fighter but what little boy isnt? He and I were very strong to be without his father for the first 3 months so I think he serves his name well also. And he will continue to serve it well.
Our son Kaiden
written by Michelle M, March 05, 2008
We heard the name Kaden on an American tv programme when I was 10 wk pregnant and knew straight away our baby would be Kaiden if a boy or Cayden if a girl. We had a few raised eyebrows at first as it was so unusual but have since found it to be quite a popular name (which is not what we wanted!) Kaiden Daniel is now 3 and definately lives up to his namesake 'fighter'!
Our son, Caden-Isaiah
written by JaLee, March 13, 2008
My first year in college, I went to an all girls school and met a girl named Caden. In 1996, when I found out I was pregnant, I told my husband about the name. He thought it would sound great for a boy.
We have read in baby books that the name means, companion and friend. On Sept. 11, 1996 we had our precious son, Caden-Isaiah. We call him his whole name and we always have. Isaiah means God is my salvation. We had now idea the name would become sooo popular.
My little boy Caden

My son was born June 2nd, 2006 and we named him Caden Allan. I hadn't heard of it more than once before we named him and now it's getting very popular! He's a spirited little boy and his name fits him well! It's a spirited and strong name, just like he is! Now we're trying to find a name for our baby to be born at the end of April! This name game is tough! We have Kelsie Ann for a girl...but no boy names yet!
