My daughter's name is Carys ("borrowed" from Catherine Zeta-Jones). It sounds and looks beautiful and I've always gotten such great feedback about it. Some people want to call her "Carrie's", but we've gotten used to it. I'm so happy that we chose this for her.

I got it from zeta! I loved it so much. I vowed to name my girl that! and what do you know, my first child was a daughter. but we changed the c to a k instead my hubby likes the letter k and if it meant i got my name i didnt mind to change one minor detail!!!! We get lots of comments about her name and i love tp tell how i discovered this magical name!!

I always loved that name but had only seen it spelled Karis. I was told it meant Love or gift, but could never find it documented. Now I see I spelled it wrong.

My name is Carys and I love it. I can't even start to count the number of different pronunciations and spellings, but I really like it none the less. My middle name is Annie (after my great grandmother) and I think it goes really well together :)

We loved the name and saw an alternate spelling in a baby book spelled Caris. We love it. It's a little different, but not too different that you couldn't figure out the spelling or pronounciation. She always gets positive comments on the name..."to love".
