| About Myself: | My name is Meghan and I'm 22 years old. I'm a mother of 3 children under the age of 3. I have a 2&1/2-yr-old girl named Aubriella Braelyn and a 1-yr-old girl named Kaia Avalon. We also just had a little boy and named him Aidyn Ryker. Guess you could say I'm the A.K.A. mommy. I enjoy sleep, good food, chocolate, Mt. Dew or Coke depending on my mood, playing with my children, having a clean house, time with my husband, music, movies, books, crafts, unique/unusual baby names, etc. I dislike sleepless nights, taking care of grouchy children, cleaning, nuts, Dr. Pepper, Sprite, grape/orange/cherry-flavored soda-pop, people who don't learn the words to songs before they sing them, over-popular names, closed-minded people, etc. I grew up in a family of 6; my mom and dad and my 3 siblings and I. I have 2 brothers, Michael and Matthew, and one sister, Matricia (we just call her Matty). My brother Michael is about 4 years older than me, Matt is 1 year younger than me and Matty is 4 years younger than Matt. My dad is a Wesleyan pastor and my mom has worked in the school system for the past 10 years. I was a good student in High School and involved in just about everything from speech team to youth groups to cheer leading to student government to power lifting to choir/band/drama and the list goes on. I was in a serious relationship for most of High School, but my parents made us break up half way through my senior year and I met my husband a month later. We started dating not long after and I ended up getting pregnant I'm pretty sure on graduation night. We didn't figure out I was pregnant until half way through the summer and when I told him I thought I was pregnant he just looked at me a minute then gave me a hug and said "is now a good time to tell you I want a girl?" I thought it was sweet and it made me laugh. We were married in August and had Aubie in January. I believe that human life is sacred and there is no circumstance where abortion is ok. The only way I can even begin to rationalize a person having an abortion is if the mother cannot medically carry the baby to term and live. I believe things would be so much easier if no one ever had sex before they were married and that you should only ever have sex with your spouse. It would really cut back on STDs and teen pregnancy. I'm disappointed for teenage/unwed mothers because I know how hard it is to raise a child(ren) and that you have to grow up so fast when you make the choice to have a child. You only have one chance to be a kid and I believe you should take advantage of that instead of making things harder on yourself by wanting to act grown-up and making decisions you're not ready for. I do give props to and have great respect for anyone who, for whatever reasons, is a single parent. Parenting is a hard enough job when both parents are present, I don't envy your position at all. I believe that marriage consists of one man and one woman, should not be entered into lightly, and that, once it has been entered into, should last forever. I believe that a home that has 2 married parents and a loving, nurturing, stable environment is best for children to grow up in. I believe that God exists and that his son, Jesus, was fully God and fully man and came to Earth as a human child born to the virgin Mary and grew up and was tempted but never sinned and died on the cross to save us from our sins and rose again 3 days later to rejoin his Father in Heaven. I believe God knows everything we've ever done and everything we will do and that he gave us the power of free will to choose what we do. I believe that you must accept Jesus as your savior before you can be free from your sin and go to Heaven when you die or at the time of the Rapture of God's people. I believe God inspired people to write the books of the Bible and others to put them together in the book as we know it. I believe the Bible is truth, and we should follow the laws that God has laid out for us in the Bible to the best of our knowledge and ability. I also believe that we are to love the sinner and not the sin. It isn't our place to judge others for their mistakes, God will do that Himself. You don't have to agree with my views, but I just wanted to let everyone know where I stand on things should anyone happen to check out my profile. If you don't like it, that's fine. |
