About Myself: My name is Gabrielle, though I usually go by Gabi. I'm 19 years old and I'm engaged to a wonderful guy, Ted Hewitt, and we cannot wait to start a family. I love children and I am almost out of school to become a preschool teacher :) The names Ted and I have decided on are Rhys Charles for a boy and Irene Isabella for a girl! (i keep all my prospective names here, as well as a summary of the meaning)

Rhys- Irish, Diminutive of Ris, translates into "Ardor" which means "firey, passionate, enthusiastic"

Charles- Ted's middle name and his father's name, Charles Elmo Hewitt the third. meaning: "man."

Estelle: Latin Stella, meaning "star"

Irene- From Eirene, the Greek Goddess of Peace. Meaning, "peace."

Isobel- Italian, "beauty of Isis." Isis was the Ancient Egyptian Goddess of Nature and magic; in the book of the dead she was known to strive for equality among the rich and poor.

Evan: Celtic, "young fighter." also derived from the Greek word Evangelos, meaning "good messanger." Evan is the Welsh version of John, and means "god is gracious"

Corren: (girl) Irish, "spear-bearer"

Aria: In music, it is an elaborate solo usually in an opera. Aria means "gentle music", "melody". Of Greek origin - Variant of mythological Ariadne ("very holy") who aided Theseus to escape from the Cretan labyrinth. The Italian word for "air."


Brigit: In Irish tradition, St. Brigit was patroness of poetry and craftwork, and as midwife and nurturer she underpins the seasonal cycle and the human life cycle. Derived from the Irish name Brighid, meaning the high one or strength.
