lindsaykay I love Winnie- We are thinking about using Winter for our 3rd daughter that is due in October and call her Winnie. But i do like Winnifred. If you love it, she will love it.
puck i love it. im kinda biased tho its one of my daughters middle names. its very classic and she thinks i named her after winnie the pooh.
May Nonny: We've chosen this name cause we really love the meaning (blessed reconciliation, peace, holy) and the old dignity in it. Yes, we love the name. It's same with Francesca which originally means "free" We love these old-fashioned names. We discussed Winnifred and Michaela (Mikey) but we both decided we love Winnifred better. Thank you all for your input.
Granny Nora It makes me think of an old woman. Sorry, not meant to hurt your feelings.
I like Willow - or how about Charlotte and call her Charlie, then both your daughters have cute nicknames...
Nonny Hi,

If you don't mind my asking, why did you select Winnifred as your choice instead of perhaps, Wynne?
lilyA it reminds me of the girl from the show Arthur her name was Dora Winafred
i love the name Winnie though
