vburgfirewife My girls are 19 months & 1 day apart and they have their moments of closeness, but do alot of arguing (got better when they got their own rooms). But, on the other hand both my older brother's have kids that are 4 years apart. And they also, have their moments of closeness, but fight and argue just as much as my girls. I think it all depends on their personalities. If you end up with 2 leaders, there are going to be problems no matter what the age difference is.

My advice? Don't stress about it, just enjoy them as they come!
Cherilee Hey there. My brother and I are four years apart and we're closer because of it. I'm older and loved showing him everything and helping my mom out. I don't think you have anything to worry about. Just love them and teach them to love and respect each other
CheyenneC My youngest brother is 6 and then it jumps to 14 and both of my brothers get along fine.
Kellymh haha dont worry theres huge age gaps in our family theres 8 kids & the biggest was 18 years two of my little brothers are only 360 days apart but that doesnt mean there really close me & my older brother are just under two years apart & my other little brother & i are about a year & a half apart but that doesnt mean im insanely close with them i think what matters alot is if you raise them to hate you & your husband so they'll team up! lol just kidding but really i think what matters is if you raise them to be close & want to confide in each other & you too thats what i wanna do with my little sister even know were 8 years apart i still want her to know that no matter what we will always be close & i'll always be there for her but good luck on getting another baby
happy2bme Well, we would have been having another one around my son's second birthday, but we can't help it that it's taking longer. I had a very early miscarriage, in March, and we're still hoping for another one, but it hasn't happened yet. Sometimes we can plan for things, but things don't always go as we plan. I've always thought we'd have 3 children and each of them 2 years apart, but not everyone can just have a baby when they want to, so it just may be that they will be more than 2 years apart and I know it's going to be okay. God has better plans than I do and when it happens it will be so much better than I thought.
iluvandy Both my brother and sister were 18 years old when my parents had me. My mom was 34 and my dad was 36. Yea, I know a BIG age difference. But we were close and still are. I dont see my sister much she lives maybe 45 minutes away from me. I did use to wish my siblings were closer to my age, because they acted like my parents when I was little. My sister was more of a second mom to me, she would babysit me, change my diapers, and take me everywhere. and my brother really acted like a dad. But I was lonely when I was little because they didn't want to ever play with me because they were to old and had a life going of their own. I would want to have my second child probably when my first is about to start school. Thats not to big of an age difference so you still have some time.
