seatpea Usually, the child will let you know when they are ready. My daughter was really easy to train. She let me know when she wanted to go. My son however was more difficult. He peed in the toilet fine but did not want to sit on it without some one there to catch him if he fell in.
MAYA elloo I have tried that trick as well and nothing has worked. So if there are any more suggestions please help me!!!
elloo lol i tricked my daughter i told her there was no more diapers! then i layed her fav blanket on the floor for her to watch tv and told her if she has to pee go to the toilet cuz she dont wanna pee on her blanket
MAYA I have tried putting cereal in the toilet for him to aim at....did not work..

I have tried pull-up....does not work.

I have taken him to the store to pick out his own underwear....has not helped.

I have tried to put him on the potty about 15 to 25 minutes after he has eaten or has something to drink....Has not worked.

He wakes up dry every morning, he is interested in being a big boy, but he is also very stubborn.

If there is anyone that has any suggestions, please let me know!!!
Granny Nora The summer after the child turns two is what my doctor said. You can tell when your child is ready. Reward him or her with a m & m everytime they do a pee or poopie! If you have a little boy you can put Froot Loops or other cereal in the toliet and have him aim for them. It's a big deal to them! Good Luck
stargazer It depends on the child i think
the age when diapers either annoy them or they are starting to be a "big boy"
tell him that he can get a "yummy treat" if he goes potty
