I am sorry to hear your family hasn't even called you Granny Nora Maybe they plan on surprising you with something later today. I haven't called my mom yet either because the kids and I are going to take her a gift in a bit and my son is going to do the yardwork for her. Your husband should maybe realize that the reason he's acknowledged on Father's Day is because you carried his children for 9 months and they in turn have given him grandchildren. You aren't his mom but you are his wife and the mother of his children, and he should set a standard. I hope your day goes better, and at the very least know that those of us who are moms appreciate everything you have done to raise your children and we know how very special you are. Have a wonderful day, and treat yourself to something special.

You know I raised my family better, so far, no calls and my husband hasn't said anything yet either after 28 years of marriage. I mentioned it to him, and he says I am not your son! Then he said, "you know you ruined it years and years ago dear when I bought home those roses for you and you said I shouldn't of spent the money." That was 27 years ago and he still remembers that. What a disappontment!!!

I bought a gift for my daughter from her daughter who is 11 months old. Just in case her daddy "forgot"!! I know one mommy will be happy today! You know a card would be enough, oh how hard it is....
