I'm 20 weeks pregnant and don't know the sex yet. I'm going to the Dr. on May 1, and probably will find out then.

My name is Timarie... what do you all think about naming a daughter the same name as the mother? I really like my name and enjoyed growing up with it.

Just thinking..your thoughts?

I think that it's up to you naming your daughter what you want. I don't think it's a problem a daughter having the name of her mother.
I think it's nice.
I'm named after my grandmother and my mom. my grandma name was Maria and my mom's middle name is Teresa.
my name is Maria Teresa and I like it.

I think that's a great name and I think it's nice naming your baby after you. The only thing that may be hard is it could get confusing. But you could easily make up a nickname for her in case that happens. But other than possible confusion I think it's great to name your baby after you. Or maybe give her a 1st name of her own and use your name as a middle? Just another idea.

I agree with Mrs. Phil on the NN only due to the confusion.. or using your name as the MN .. or even find a combo of your name.. either way..name your baby what you love
