Hey everyone
What do you think of people who name their kids after celebritykids? I personally just LOVE these names :

Harlow (nicole richie and joel madden)
Apple: Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow
Grier (brooke shields)
Suri (tom cruise and katie holmes)
India (catherine oxenberg)

Aurelius Cy: Elle Macpherson and Arpad Busson
Ocean: Forest Whitaker
Brooklyn: David and Victoria Beckham
Lennon: Liam Gallagher and Patsy Kensit

I'd just love to name my kids after those cute little kids, not only becouse they're beautiful and nice names but also b/c I really look up to their some of their parents. I think this all the time (that is it a good idea to name your child after celebritykid) So what do you think? Should I name my kids like that, or would you ?? <33

P.S I think right now I'm too young to have kids but I love dreaming of my future,and hopefully I'll have then a BIG family with lots of kids and love! Have a great day!

I am too!!! I want a family of 4. But that is in the far future I am only 15 [don't think though i have no experience I have named plenty of baby dolls:laugh: LOL i have 30]. I want to go to colage first and I strongly believe in being married before having kids; so it may be longer.How old are ? you I think that some of the names are pretty especialy apple. But just because you look up to their parents doesn't mean they have taste. Just something to think about. Have fun dreaming!!

i just looked at your name and are you 34? If so; what do you mean your dreaming and are to young to have kids ? by the time that my mom was 34 I was 11 and my brother was 8. and you are intitled to your own opinion but you'll be in your 50's when they graduate. If not sorry for jumping to conclusions but that shocked me.

By the age 34 I hope I'm married (and I will be ) and I have at least 3 children. But back to the names, what do you think of the names Shiloh and Mia? I really love the name Shiloh, it sounds so warm and adorable, and Mia is simple and sooo beautiful. And have you (I'm sure you have) seen the picture of Shiloh Jolie-Pitt? She's gonna be a beauty! Shiloh (angelina jolie) Mia (kate winslett) And to you, Lily who wants family of 4, I've named plenty of babydolls and barbies too! I wish you all the best!

I personally dont think any name you pick for you children is stupid if you look into it early and really think it through. I started around your age looking into names and meanings because it was very important to my mom how my name was, not only as a cute cuddly baby girl but as a grown woman. She tried different names, spellings and even checked my initials out so I would never be embarrassed! If she named me her first choice (and my dad's) I would have been named for a famous drink and my initials would have been BRA. Can you imagine the jokes???? She chose to go with Cynthia as my "given" name so if I ever chose to want something grown up or more sophisticated than just Cyndi (or Cindy) I could. I think you should do what you want, but please remember there may be some wants from the father as well! I am going to have to go with the flow on boys names since my fiance is a third, so there will have to be a fourth. But you can play with names and spellings and also remember there are always nicknames too. I changed Cindy to Cyndi when I was 12 and it was easy because it was a nickname. The hard part is finding personalized things because it is not a "normal" spelling.

Dream your dreams and then when the actual baby is in your arms you will have choices to go with. Just look at all the possibilities and also does the name fit the baby? Just remember that every name does have a meaning and some people place a lot of stock in that. I only know that even a simple name can be teased if a kid is cruel enough.

Personally I want to name my first born daughter Coral Rose. Coral for my mom (her name is Carol so I mixed it up so she isn't a junior) and Rose for my Grandma Rosalie. Her initials will be CRH. Normal enough I think.

Thanks to you I feel so much stronger of my opinions, and I know that I do want to be a great mom and I want to have a great bond to my kids (and of course to my husband!). And of course I'll let the dad also tell his opinion of the name when the time comes
