So... Today I got a call from my dad, him and his girlfriend are getting married.

Now normally, this might not be odd to people.. But see, my dads girlfriend is only about 4 years older than me. So its a tad strange.

And then he goes on about "oh, Crystal might be pregnant right now... We're not sure. But even if she isnt, we're going to be trying to have a kid within the next year."

So, I'm 20 years old, and might be getting a little brother or sister from a step mom who is only a few years older than me.




Oh, and then my dad started asking if I had any name suggestions. Apparently if its a girl, Crystal wants to name her Alexandra (ew!) ad my dad wants to name her Spencer (pretty cute.) And then he said that if its a boy he wants to name him Max (what he almost named my brother.) But I absolutely loathe that name and told him that if they name him that then I'll refuse to call him by that.

My dad then informed me that him and Crystal are moving to Kansas, to be with her family. So even if I do get a little brother or sister, I'd only be able to see them maybe once a year.

I think my brain is gonna have a meltdown from trying to cope with all this.

WOW! If I were you my brain would have already had a meltdown. 4 years older than you? That's crazy!

And Max? Is she pregnant with a dog?

Its really not that weird...My husband is 15 yrs older than I am and we have a baby together and he also has 4 other kids so his oldest one is only 3 yrs younger than me and we all love eachother and couldnt be happier.

I feel sorry for you because I would hate to be in your shoes!! It would be quite weird and awkward and I hate to say it but I would be really resentful toward her and probably not like her very much.

my pit bulls name is max and I'm sorry but if that was my dad I wold ask him on a daily basis why he didn't get a car for his mid life crisis instead of a female the car is cheaper and easier to take care of. I would also ask if he was high when he said that he was moving but that's just me. You just made me very happy that my dad is a hermit.
