My husband likes the name Colton and I think it is cute, but I don't know if I can see a succesful man named Colton/Kolton. What are your oppinions and how would you spell it? (I think Colton looks like a baby horse to me...Colt...)

Yes. It DOES fit a man, as opposed to a little boy. It is strong, determined, intelligent and even a little sexy. It almost has a bit of a cowboy feel to me. Careful with the "K" spelling, though. Unique is nice, over-the-top is distracting. I much prefer the "C". I have an 18-year old Keegan and his name has really grown with him. He never had to grow into or out of it. (The "K" was okay here because Keegan is never spelled with a "C" Good Luck!
